The only team to ever win more than one USCL Championship has hit a rough patch the past couple seasons, suprisingly finishing near the bottom of the Western Division in each, despite having a very strong roster in both seasons - a clear demonstration of the parity and strength of the League.

With the university setting of the team, their roster undergoes fair changes every season, but no change has seemed to stand out as much as the loss of two-time All Star, GM Davorin Kuljasevic, as one of the most successful players in League History is difficult to replace, and the uniform nature of the USCL makes it difficult for any team to rise to the top without a star such as him.

While that loss has been a tough one to overcome, the Destiny still found some bright points, most notably the addition of IM Julio Sadorra who had a very impressive first season along with IM Salvijus Bercys who had another very solid year, despite being outrated in nearly all of his games. With the collective strength of the UTD players available to create their roster, it seems to be just a matter of time before Dallas can find the right mix of players to help them again rise to the top of the USCL once more.
