The Inventors, while a generally solid team, have generally not had tremendous overall success as they tend to not have quite as much firepower up top as many other teams, which often results in them using subpar lineups.

In 2011 though it seems very likely that that can change in a big way, as the Inventors made a big offseason acquisition in GM Sergey Erenburg, one of the most successful players in League History. With him likely to simultaneously solve Philadelphia's problems of having a scarcity of strong lineups and tending to struggle at the top, it would be nearly impossible to argue that things definitely look brighter for the Inventors in 2011.

While the addition of him to the effort seems virtually impossible to make Philadelphia anything but stronger, clearly he alone cannot turn Philadelphia from a non-playoff team to a Championship caliber one. But with former All Star FM Tom Bartell also a part of the effort, and the addition of young gun NM William Fisher, whose current rating should make him a tremendous force in the bottom board, an entirely new Inventor team seems likely to come to light this year.
